Privacy policy
Updated 19 October 2026
This policy covers Loopspec Extensions: the Gramcheck and Meetkeep browser extensions, the license server they use, and this website. Loopspec runs all of them.
The short version
- Gramcheck checks your writing on your device. Your text is never sent to us or anyone else.
- Meetkeep saves recordings in your browser and to files you choose. Recordings are never uploaded.
- When you buy, we store your order ID and the email you paid with, so we can issue your license and help you recover it.
- This website uses no cookies, analytics or third-party scripts.
Gramcheck
Gramcheck reads the text in fields you type in and checks it inside the extension. Passwords, one-time codes, code editors and banking fields are skipped.
Your settings, personal dictionary, ignored suggestions, license and trial dates are stored in your browser's extension storage. The date you installed Gramcheck, which starts the trial clock, is also saved to Chrome's sync storage, so if you use Chrome sync, Google keeps that copy in your Google account.
Gramcheck contacts our license server in three cases:
- Once a day it asks for rule updates and safety fixes. The request contains nothing about you or your writing.
- Before starting the 14-day trial on a site, it asks your permission. If you agree, it sends that site's address (for example mail.google.com) and a random identifier it creates, and keeps the identifier in that site's storage in your browser. It sends the same two values again each time you open that site with Gramcheck on, so our server can keep the trial clock.
- When you buy, it handles checkout as described under Buying and your license.
Meetkeep
Meetkeep records the Google Meet tab's video and audio, and your microphone, only while you are recording. A recording indicator stays visible in the call the whole time. It runs only on meet.google.com.
Recordings are saved in your browser's storage on your computer and in the files you export. Meetkeep never uploads them. Some places require everyone's consent before a call is recorded, so tell participants before you start.
The free version makes no network requests. After you click Buy, Meetkeep contacts our license server to start checkout and collect your license.
Buying and your license
Creem, our payment provider, takes your payment. We never see your card details. When you click Buy, our server asks Creem to create a checkout for the product and a random purchase reference.
After you pay, Creem tells our server about the order. We store your order ID, the email you paid with, the product, the purchase date and the license file we issue, which contains your email and order ID. A separate record links the purchase to your browser so the extension can collect its license. We delete that record after 7 days.
Your license file is verified on your device, so the extensions keep working without an account and without contacting us. If an order is fully refunded or disputed, we mark it revoked and stop issuing its license.
The recovery form sends your order ID and email to our license server, which returns the license only when both match.
This website
extensions.loopspec.com uses no cookies, analytics or third-party scripts. The recovery form is the only part that sends information anywhere, as described above. The site itself stores nothing about you.
Service providers
- Cloudflare hosts this website and our license server, and processes every request to them, including your IP address. We use IP addresses to limit repeated attempts, such as license recovery tries, and do not store them in our database.
- Creem processes payments and receives the details you enter at checkout.
- Google stores Gramcheck's install date in your Google account if you use Chrome sync.
How long we keep data
- Order records: for as long as we offer license recovery, or until you ask us to delete yours.
- Purchase records that link a checkout to your browser: up to 8 days. They expire after 7 days and a daily cleanup removes them.
- Trial records: up to 31 days after the trial ends, removed by the same daily cleanup.
- Counters that limit failed recovery attempts for an order: up to 25 hours. Each counts for one hour and the daily cleanup removes it. They hold a one-way hash of the order ID.
Your choices
- Removing an extension deletes the data it stored in your browser, including Meetkeep recordings that you have not exported. Exported files stay where you saved them, and Gramcheck's install date stays in Chrome sync until you clear your synced data.
- To stop Gramcheck's trial checks for a site, turn Gramcheck off for that site.
- To see or delete the order record we hold, email support-ext@loopspec.com with your order ID. After deletion we cannot recover your license, so keep a copy of the license file.
